The Centre was originally formed as an unincorporated association in 1983 and continued to be so until 1 March 2004 when the Vale of Evesham Volunteer Centre Limited, a company limited by guarantee, was formed and work of the charity transferred to this new company in April 2004.
Its objectives and regulations are regulated by the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company.
On 27 April 2006 the charity changed its name to Evesham Volunteer Centre.
The story continues, today, of an organisation which provides community transport and befriending services that reduce social isolation.
