Transport Volunteer

Volunteer drivers use their own cars to transport clients and are reimbursed their mileage costs. Drivers can do as much or as little driving as they wish – even an hour or two a week is helpful – and the Centre prides itself on very rarely having to let a client down.

The Community Transport Scheme relies on volunteers working in the office to deal with ‘phone calls from clients and make arrangements between clients and volunteer drivers. They make sure that clients arrive at their appointments on time.

The office welcomes you to visit the Volunteer Centre at The Lodge, rear of Dresden House, Brick Kiln Street, Evesham, to ask queries and talk through transport needs or volunteering to help with community transport.
